We’ve been really busy

So, all in all we have been very busy down at Thame Shed over the past few weeks. We have people building planters, picnic tables, chess sets, and a full size bar, capable of serving about 500 people.

It will probably end up the other way up!

A group of enterprising shedders are building a small CNC machine. (CNC stands for Computer Numerical Control. Is anyone any wiser yet?) Good luck with that one, chaps.

We have a staircase for a slide to help out a young disabled girl named Isla.

No, it isn’t the stairway to the Thame Gallows – it an excellent staircase to help a little girl use her slide.

Oh, and did I mention someone has built a giant bar capable of serving at least 500 people? Here it is!

So whatever the rugby club calls it, we will affectionately know it as the Angus Mylles Bar.

We were building picnic tables last month. Sanjit & John put together a monster table which is now in the wooded area by the shed – so watch out for teddy bears.

Not to be outdone Sanjit then built one for himself at home – presumably to sleep on, as he did with the one at the shed.

Peter Hopgood tells us he has been hard at work at home building this beautiful piece of furniture

Oh and we decided the Angus Myles Bar wasn’t complete without a garden outside it. So we knocked up this.

So please let us know just what you have been up to and send us your photos. Don’t forget you can always upload your own photos to our gallery – especially if they happen to be of a giant bar.
