For the past few weeks, Simon Mills has been working away in the Shed and we had no idea what he was building.

This week he came clean. It’s a kinetic sculpture.

“The design of the device was purchased from Derek Hugger in USA ($49). Any publication of the images should credit him.

As an engineer, I was frustrated by not understanding how this works. That’s what prompted me to make one. Now all is clear and the opens the possibility of making similar devices with different patterns.
