Mike Ashford has received an invitation from His Majesty King Charles to attend a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace on 14 May to celebrate and recognise those working in Education and Skills.

To be nominated by the Lord Lieutenant of Oxfordshire is obviously a personal honour for Mike, for which he feels proud, but more important than that, he feels it is public recognition of all those who have and continue to work on the development of Thame Community Shed.

He wants to take this opportunity to express his thanks to you all.
