We are going to market!

As most of you know, we make and repair many things here in Thame Shed. We have people who can turn beautiful bowls, build stairs, repair toys and much, much more.
The trouble is, we never tell anyone about it. In fact, the only people who really see what we can do are the rugby club and a few charities looking for help. But we don’t go out and show the general public what we do or how they could become part of Thame Shed.
Therefore, we are proposing to obtain a stall on Thame Market to sell some of the things that we make and tell people about what else we do.
In order to do this, we need several people to step up and help us, please.
We are looking for individuals who can spare a couple of hours a week or even a month to help us create some simple yet high-quality items here in The Shed. We are not trying to produce oak dressers or massively complicated products that take weeks to complete. Rather, we are looking to knock out bird boxes, garden planters, cribbage boards, children’s toys and similar items. Things that show our skills and that the people of Thame would love to own.
So, can you help? Even if you are building something large when you come to The Shed, can you just spend a small amount of time and help varnish an owl?
We will be holding a meeting on Friday at 11 am in The Shed to discuss how we can progress this project. Please, attend if you can. We would love to hear your views. If you can’t attend but would still like to be part of the project please let me (John Fowler) know. You can email me at john.fowler@thameshed.co.uk.
Many thanks and I hope to see you on Friday
