Neil gets it done.

Neil Madden has been working hard for the past 18 months alongside a dedicated group from the Shed who helped him achieve the (almost) impossible.

He built a traction engine!

One-third scale and arriving on his doorstep in 27 boxes, he laboured to get it built and certified as safe to drive. The woodworking department joined in and provided Neil with the trailer to travel behind it.

Neil said, “Building the traction engine was a real team effort at Thame Shed. One group of volunteers worked on the engineering side, and another made the trailer. “

Now completed, it will go up for sale, with the proceeds going to Thame Shed.
